Yeah I got in eventually I wasn't logging in correctly...I was still logged in under the 2011 pool

First games done and a couple unexpected finishes. First the Pens give up a big lead lose in the overtime. That will make them nervous in Pittsburg even though it was only the first game.

In Vancouver, for some reason the Canucks decide to goon it up, running the goalie and then Byron Bitz dishes out a nasty hit that he will certainly be suspended for. L A totally dominated that game.

You gotta love the playoffs, anything can and usually does happen.

LA could take out Vancouver. A few pals from work are betting on it. Who knows what is going to happen with Pitt and Phili. Be a close series. Looking forward to tonights action!

LA has the best goalie in the league right now. They could be a real sleeper.

Tonight, Boston starts against Washington. On paper this should be an easy series for Boston but there is always the Ovechkin factor, he is a game changer.

As much as I would like to see the Sens win, New York is the real deal this year.

The fun has started!

The Vancouver Canucks were first in the regular season and down 2 games fast. Should be a few guys with teams loaded with canucks getting a little nervous.

Pittsburg guys too.

Who woulda thought those 2 teams would be down 2-0 already?

I have both pittsburg and vancouver players....ouch. Still not over but to be down two games at home does not make things easy. Philly and LA both look really good, wouldn't surprise me to see them in the final....lol.

Ya, the Philly Pitt series is a real shoot out. I think this one is a long way from over. LA is playing incredible team defence. They are just shutting down everything.

That goalie from Washington could sure make that series close too. He almost stole game one.

That's why you gotta love the playoffs.

Figured I better do a first round update before some guys lose their entire rosters

Been a crazy 1st round so far. Weird games, cheap shots, suspensions and underdogs.

I love playoff hockey. It is awesome. Every series is interesting. I wonder which teams that are down 3-1 will come back? Sedins are both back now and you gotta think Pittsburg is going to be tough to finish off. What is with the scoring in that series? Crazy.

Well the Red Wings are done. Today Boston is now on the brink of elimination. Wow.

A lot of us are going to be sliding pretty quick now. With Pitt and Detroit out and Vancouver on the brink a lot of guys are going to take a big hit very soon.

No kidding. Lost 3 players with Pitt and will loose more tonight if Vancouver is gone. They were the two favourites were they not??

The TSN "experts" picked a vancouver pittsburg final. But let's be homest, if they really were experts they'd still be in the game. Healy was a lifetime backup, Mackenzie is questionable and if Crawford knew what he was talking about he'd still be coaching. There lots of guys on here that picked better than those 3 LOL

Only 4 guys left on my team who would of thought Pitts and Vancouver out in the first round.

Looks as if Warningshot is the guy to catch now. He is the only one with all his guys moving into the second round.

What a nutty playoffs. All the favourite teams gone. Looks like it comes down the the series between NJ and NY to see who will have the last players standing going into the finals.
