Advanced Hunter Group: High on the Horn! Posts: 734 Member No.: 166 Joined: 21-July 06	I talked with an outfitter friend of mine today in Manitoba.He says he has no hunters in this year.And I thought it would be nice to get up there for a hunt with him next year. He had US tags but he sold them a few years ago.Now he only takes Canadian hunters now and then.So the amount of deer taken on his properties is low. He is in the inter-lake region and it's oldschool hunting.He has 2 cabins out the back of the property for sleeping and resting.All meals are cooked and served by his wife in their kitchen. It's a no frills hunt,(eat sleep and hunt)no hot tubs and big screen tv's. His properties are mostly farm country and bush.Hunting is done from box blinds and tree stands. Cost....$1000.00 per hunter for a 6 day rifle hunt. Airfare out of Hamilton.(West jet) to Winnipeg. Non resident deer licence.$ 155.00 Airport pickup fee.(depending on numbers)$100.00 total.
