Hey Guys, let's see you trophy pics here along with a brief discription, weapon used, shot distance, shooter name etc... everyone I'm sure would like to see them, and I can post them on www.justushunting.com on the "real trophies" page, you'd not only be helping me out, but there's plenty of people out there that would love to see them...

So come on everyone, BATTER UP, step up to the plate and let's see what's out there.

Rick

A picture of a wyoming antelope I harvested with a 270 WSM from very long range. 450 yds. Was a very succesful and fun hunt with my wife and father.

I posted a story about it in the articles and stories section:

There, that should get the ball rolling. allright.gif

Ok, I start this off guys, feel free to follow suit.

Here's a pic of our moose gang this fall, great moose 53-1/2" shot by Carl Jones (copterdoctor on the left), Kevin Mckenna ( the Lil Missus), Bruce Raine (The Pine Marten)and myself.
We all know how the weather was this fall with the heat and black flies, but on our only frost the tag team of Bruce and Carl managed to bring one down.

Wow those truly are trophies... for their sheer size. But, this one here is a deer I consider my trophy of a great weekend hunt - I took two bucks, this one was my biggest.... biggest ever so far. Not huge to most standards I'm sure, but the 9 point I will always remember.

Got this guy in 07. Watched him bed down at 8:30. At 10:30 a different buck comes through and they fight for a couple of min. and take off. I thought they were gone for good. I climb down to go in for lunch. When my foot hits the ground I hear a stick break and there he is 50 yards away and looking right at me. After what seems like an hour he licks his nose, wags his tail and starts walking right at me. He stoped and turned broadside ten feet away. I was down wind of him and he stunk real bad. I shoot him and he goes down 15 yards later. Dressed out at 239# and netted 149 1/8 with a broken off brow tine.
user posted image
He also had a fresh gash over his eye from the fight with the other deer.
